Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and amend standard and bespoke reports using SSRS.
· Work with stakeholders to gather and interpret reporting requirements.
· Brief Product Dev on SQL requirements and clearly document report logic.
· Create and maintain RDL files in line with customer specifications.
· Develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and datasets to support reporting needs.
· Ensure reports are accurate, validated, and tested prior to release.
· Deliver reports via email or securely via SFTP in accordance with agreed schedules.
· Proactively monitor, troubleshoot and resolve report-related issues and failures in a timely manner, preferable before they reach customers.
· Optimise report performance and maintain existing reporting solutions.
· Document report logic, data sources, and delivery processes.
· Support continuous improvement of reporting standards and processes.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Exp: 5+ Yrs
· Proven experience developing reports using SSRS.
· Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server).
· Experience creating and modifying RDL files and familiarity with secure file transfer methods (SFTP).
· Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple priorities effectively.
· Experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
· Experience working within the education and/or catering sector.
Desirable:
· Understanding of data protection and handling sensitive data.
Knowledge of report scheduling and automated delivery processes.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
