Description
We are seeking an experienced SS (Duplex) Welder to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding duplex stainless steel and be able to perform high-quality welds in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations on duplex stainless steel materials according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute welding tasks.
- Maintain and operate welding equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct quality checks on welded joints to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve project goals and timelines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in welding, specifically with duplex stainless steel.
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including TIG and MIG welding.
- Strong understanding of welding symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of metallurgy and welding processes related to duplex stainless steel.
- Ability to perform quality inspections on welds and ensure compliance with standards.
- Familiarity with safety practices and procedures in a welding environment.
