Role: SRE(Site Reliability Engineer)

Location: Pan India

Skills Good to Have:

- Kubernetes

- Understanding of ETSI MANO Architecture

- Experience in creating VNFD and NSD packages

- Working with Java apps, Rancher, Kubernetes, and Helm

- Experience building and managing Kafka, Zookeeper and Consul clusters.

- Experience deploying and maintaining Hadoop, Airflow, Geode, and related components.

- Load Balancing configuration and management Eg. F5.

- Familiar with Central Auth, LDAP

- Experience in creating TOSCA templates.

Responsibilities:

Integrate CI/CD pipelines with orchestration layer to fulfil lifecycle management scenarios.

Monitoring and management of Linux VMs.

Develop a telco grade PaaS capability for Sky.

Design, document, and implement a PaaS solution to onboard and integrate vendor provided or requested applications with Sky's telecommunications infrastructure.

Be responsible for the engineering and support of production environments, including automation of patches, upgrades, reliability and performance improvements

Ownership lab facilities for Dev & Test activities of PaaS

Develop assurance, monitoring, and management capabilities for PaaS infrastructure using Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.

Creation of automated reports for various services and PaaS infrastructure.

Manage the operational playbook for the PaaS infrastructure and the services running within it.

Automate dashboards and reporting for the platform against SLOs, SLAs and KPIs.

Monitor and manage Linux VMs, Containers and applications.

Support and lifecycle management of various applications and services, including patching, upgrades, updates and troubleshooting.

Plan for proactive disaster recovery testing.

Develop orchestration for VNF lifecycle management scenarios (auto-healing, auto-scaling, upgrades, patching).

Responsibilities Good to Have:

Act as a technical point of contact with the suppliers to elicit required information about their VNF's and orchestration capabilities.

Work with suppliers to onboard their VNFs and CNFs.

Design VNF descriptors and Network Descriptors (files).
