SRE Engineer

Summary

The SRE Engineer will work within a cross-functional team focusing on Reliability across a product area. The primary objective is to apply best practices in Reliability Engineering, enhance operational quality, and ensure consistent application performance while minimizing disruptions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product teams to apply Reliability engineering best practices.
• Ensure delivery quality and maintain KPI reporting.
• Monitor, manage, and resolve incidents related to supported applications.
• Conduct technical analysis and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Enhance monitoring performance through preventive measures.
• Drive continuous improvement in proactive monitoring and automation efforts.
• Automate development and production processes using scripting tools.
• Participate in on-call support for business-critical incident resolution.
  
  

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong experience in eCommerce environments.
• Extensive knowledge of DevOps practices, including automated testing and CI/CD.
• Experience with API-based frameworks.
• Familiarity with ITIL support processes and ITSM tools in microservices contexts.
• Intermediate proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Ruby, Java, C#, Go).
• Experience working with cloud-based infrastructures (Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in building CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Capability in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible.
  
  

Nice to Haves:

• Familiarity with Headless Ecommerce tech stacks.
• Experience in maintaining and developing desktop and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of solutions architecture principles.
• Understanding of performance engineering concepts.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and Grafana.
• Familiarity with managed cloud Kubernetes services (AKS, GKE).
