About Position:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) specializing in AWS Cloud Infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of software engineering and operations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance for missioncritical systems. The candidate will drive automation, observability, and proactive incident management to build resilient cloud-native infrastructure.

What You'll Do:
- You will play a key role in building and maintaining highly reliable, available, and scalable systems on AWS. Youll collaborate with engineering teams to embed reliability into the software lifecycle while driving operational excellence.
- Define and implement SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for critical services.
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and blameless postmortems.
- Design and manage AWS infrastructure: ECS/EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM.
- Architect and maintain scalable Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Build advanced monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, XRay, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
- Implement distributed tracing, logging, and microservices observability.
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline, ArgoCD).
- Implement deployment strategies: bluegreen, canary, rolling deployments.
- Automate operational tasks to reduce toil and increase efficiency.
- Manage SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL stores (DynamoDB, MongoDB).
- Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and resilience using AWS best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate reliability into SDLC.
- Participate in oncall rotations and lead incident response efforts.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, leadership capabilities, and a passion for clean, efficient code.
- 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, React.js, and Next.js
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side architecture
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with Docker; Kubernetes is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
