Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & CI/CD Engineering

  • Configure and manage Azure cloud services for monitoring, automation, CI/CD, and traffic management.
  • Design, set up, audit, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and secure deployments.
  • Drive automation across build, deployment, and monitoring workflows.

Observability & Monitoring

  • Design and implement end-to-end observability frameworks for production and non-production environments.
  • Set up and manage APM and observability tools including:
  • Azure Monitor
  • Prometheus
  • OpenTelemetry
  • OpenSearch
  • Build APM solutions from scratch, including agent selection, configuration, and optimization.
  • Implement synthetic monitoring to proactively detect availability and performance issues.

Kubernetes & Platform Reliability

  • Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes applications, infrastructure usage, and data pipelines in production.
  • Define, implement, and continuously improve Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
  • Measure and improve platform reliability using SLIs, error budgets, and reliability metrics.

Resilience & Incident Management

  • Apply SRE best practices for:
  • Incident detection and response
  • Root cause analysis
  • Reliability improvement initiatives
  • Support resiliency planning and observability best practices across platforms.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and guide team members, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for SRE, observability, and reliability engineering.
  • Champion SRE culture and principles across engineering and QA teams.
