Job Title: Sr Workday HCM Analyst

Location: Gurugram

Type: FTE

Job Profile Summary

The Sr Workday HCM Analyst is responsible for the configuration, enhancement, and ongoing support of the company's Workday HCM domain, with primary focus on Core HCM processes and secondary ownership of Reporting and Prism Analytics. This role partners with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable HCM solutions, improve process efficiency, and support reporting and analytics needs. The ideal candidate combines strong Workday HCM functional expertise with hands-on experience in reporting, dashboards, calculated fields, and Prism-based analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the functional analyst for Workday HCM, supporting Core HCM processes and related configuration across the employee lifecycle.

Configure and maintain Workday business processes, security, validations, eligibility rules, notifications, and organizational structures to support HR operations and compliance.

Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective system configurations and process improvements.

Support day-to-day HCM operations, issue resolution, testing, and continuous improvement across the Workday HCM landscape.

Build and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support HR operations, compliance, and business decision-making.

Support Prism Analytics use cases, including data loads, transformations, validation, and analytics for workforce reporting needs.

Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and reporting governance across HCM and Prism datasets.

Partner with integration and technical teams on data flows impacting HCM processes, reporting, and analytics.

Support Workday releases, regression testing, feature adoption, and production readiness.

Provide end-user support, documentation, and training for HCM processes, reporting tools, and analytics solutions.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in the Workday ecosystem, including 4+ years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM configuration and support.

Strong hands-on experience in Workday HCM, including business processes, security, organizational setup, and core employee data management.

Experience building Workday reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and reporting security.

Working experience with Workday Prism Analytics, including data loads, transformations, and validation.

Strong understanding of Workday HCM data structures, business objects, and security concepts.

Experience translating business requirements into scalable HCM and reporting solutions.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Workday Pro certification in HCM, Reporting, Prism Analytics, or related areas.

Experience supporting HCM areas such as Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Time Tracking, or Absence.

Familiarity with EIBs, integrations, and reporting-related data flows.

Experience supporting global organizations and multi-country HCM processes.

Prior experience in the freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industry is a plus.

Education, Location and others

Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
