Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Visa Counsellor based in Chandigarh. The Sr. Visa Counsellor will be responsible for guiding clients through the visa application process, including consultation, documentation, and application submission. This role involves assessing client profiles, providing accurate and up-to-date visa information, and ensuring compliance with country-specific immigration policies. Additionally, the Sr. Visa Counsellor will continuously update knowledge of visa and immigration procedures and collaborate with clients to tailor pathways for their educational and professional aspirations.

Qualifications

  • Provide counselling for Student Visas, Visitor Visas, Spouse Open Work Permits, and other immigration pathways for Canada, Australia, the UK, and the USA.
  • Assess client profiles and recommend suitable colleges, universities, and visa options.
  • Guide clients through admissions and visa application processes.
  • Review, verify, and organise documents for university applications and visa submissions.
  • Process applications to colleges and universities and coordinate with institutions as required.
  • Ensure compliance with immigration regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain accurate client records and provide timely updates on application status.
  • Identify sales opportunities and achieve admission and visa conversion targets.
  • Monitor team performance and support junior counsellors.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high professional standards.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in visa counselling, immigration, or study abroad services.
  • Strong knowledge of Student Visas, Visitor Visas, and Spouse Open Work Permits for Canada, Australia, the UK, and the USA.
  • Experience in university admissions and documentation processes.
  • Proven team management experience.
  • Excellent communication, counselling, and sales skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: Negotiable for the right candidate.
  • 1 paid leave per month.
  • Annual performance bonus equivalent to one month's salary upon successful completion of one year and achievement of targets.
