SR. UI/UX Designer

We are seeking a seasoned SR. UI/UX Designer with extensive experience in software application design, particularly for accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire design process, from user research and prototyping to visual design and implementation. This role requires a collaborative professional with strong technical skills and a portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.

Key Responsibilities

• User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing specifically for accounting tasks to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mock-ups for both desktop and mobile applications using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Visual Design: Develop intuitive, visually appealing designs that align with our brand identity and ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and development, to ensure successful design implementation.
• Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides to enhance consistency and usability.
• Iterative Design: Refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders and user testing to ensure continuous improvement of the user experience.
• HTML/CSS Knowledge: Utilize strong HTML/CSS skills to create functional prototypes and assist development teams in implementation.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design, especially within the context of accounting software.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in design or B.Tech (Computer Science).
• Experience:5-6 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably with a focus on software applications.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing design projects, user flows, and case studies for both desktop and mobile applications.
• Skills:
• Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Expertise in HTML/CSS with the ability to create responsive layouts.
• Coding knowledge is a must.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks is a plus.
