Job Description
As a Sr Trade Compliance Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing the company's duty drawback processes. You will analyze import and export data, identify opportunities for duty recovery, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations to maximize financial benefits for the company.
You will report directly to the Trade Compliance Manager, and you'll work out of our Bangalore, India office location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company's cost savings and compliance by accurately identifying and processing duty drawback claims, thereby improving financial efficiency and regulatory adherence.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze import and export transactions to identify eligible duty drawback opportunities.
- Prepare duty drawback claims in compliance with customs regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, finance, and compliance to ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of claims.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant customs laws and regulations affecting duty drawback.
- Monitor and track duty drawback refunds and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Proven experience in duty drawback or customs compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations processes.
- Experience with import/export documentation and data analysis.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for data management and reporting.
