Areas Of Responsibility
Define and execute feature enablement, characterization, and compliance test plans for high-speed I/O (HSIO) across SoC- and system-level platforms.
- Provide technical guidance on board bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis for complex SerDes, memory (DDR), or Ethernet interface issues.
- Develop and maintain advanced post-silicon validation setups, including automated test frameworks (Python/Perl), fixtures, and bench characterization techniques
Experience
12+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience in post-silicon validation, characterization, or verification of high-speed interfaces.
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in characterizing high-speed interfaces
- Strong knowledge in protocols such as PCIe (Gen 4/5/6), DDR4/5, SerDes (112G/224G), USB4, or Ethernet.
- Expert-level skills with high-speed test equipment: Oscilloscopes (TDS/DPO), BERTs, VNAs, TDRs, and Compliance Software
- Advanced proficiency in Python or Perl for test script automation and data analysis.
- Demonstrated experience leading validation teams, driving test rigor, and mentoring junior engineers
- Good understanding of Analog blocks like LDO, BG, PLL, ADC, DAC.
- Knowledge on Digital IP's , PCIe, CXL, AMBA, NoC, DDR, USB, MIPI
- Commendable knowledge in testcases development, instrument handling.
- Hands on experience in JBERT, High Bandwidth scope, spectrum analyzer, VNA.
- Hands on experience in Python, LabVIEW, Teststand, C
- Hands on experience in Lecroy USB 3.2 and DP exerciser/analyzer.
