Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Odoo Lead to drive Odoo ERP implementations and lead a team of developers and consultants. The candidate will play a key role in pre-sales support, solution design, project delivery, and client engagement, ensuring successful implementation of Odoo solutions across multiple modules.

The ideal candidate should have strong functional and technical knowledge of Odoo ERP, leadership experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales Support & Client Engagement

  • Participate in sales meetings along with the Business Analyst and sales team to support technical discussions with clients.
  • Provide technical consultation and answer client questions regarding Odoo capabilities and implementation approach.
  • Assist in building Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and solution prototypes for potential clients.
  • Demonstrate Odoo solutions to clients and clearly articulate the proposed system architecture and workflows.
  • Understand the client's business processes and use cases and recommend suitable ERP solutions.

2. Solution Design & Implementation

  • Design and implement Odoo ERP solutions across multiple modules such as CRM, Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, HR, and Projects.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Lead end-to-end ERP implementations, including configuration, customization, integration, and deployment.
  • Ensure solutions follow Odoo best practices and maintain system scalability and maintainability.
  • Handle data migrations, integrations with third-party systems, and system optimizations where required.

3. Team Leadership & Project Delivery

  • Lead and manage a team of Odoo developers and technical consultants.
  • Allocate tasks, review deliverables, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Manage multiple Odoo implementations simultaneously and ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

4. Technical Development & Skills

  • Develop and customize Odoo modules using Python and the Odoo framework.
  • Work with SQL/PostgreSQL databases for data management and optimization.
  • Implement workflows, automation, security rules, and custom features within the Odoo platform.
  • Support system integrations using APIs and external services when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience implementing Odoo ERP across multiple modules.
  • Strong understanding of both functional and technical aspects of the Odoo ERP system.
  • Proven experience managing or leading Odoo development teams.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL/PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to analyze client requirements and design effective ERP solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and client interactions simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Odoo integrations and third-party APIs.
  • Experience with Odoo.sh or deployment environments.
  • Knowledge of ERP implementation methodologies and business process optimization.
  • Experience working with clients across industries such as manufacturing, distribution, retail, or services.
