Job Description
A IBMS and CCTV Expert is responsible for designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting closed-circuit television systems and Integrated Building Management System.
Responsibilities
Core Duties & Responsibilities
- System Installation: Mount, position, and calibrate analog, Sensors and IP cameras.
- Cabling & Wiring: Pull, route, terminate, and test structured cabling like Cat-5, Cat-6, Communication, Power, and fiber optics.
- Hardware Configuration: Set up Digital Video Recorders (DVRs), Network Video Recorders (NVRs), and head-end control panels, Controllers of DDC panel.
- Network Integration: Configure IP addresses, routers, switches, and software for remote monitoring.
- System Testing: Evaluate video signals, adjust viewing angles, and maximize area coverage.
- Security Integration: Link CCTV systems with access control gates, intruder alarms, and fire safety systems.
- Maintenance & Repair: Conduct preventative checks, clean lenses, update software, and swap failing components.
- Technical Diagnostics: Troubleshoot connectivity drops, power supply failures, and video corruption errors.
- Site Surveying: Assess client architecture to build a Bill of Materials (BOM) and plan camera layouts and IBMS sensors.
