Tech Design Consultant ( 8-10 years) Tech Design Consultant / Technical Design Team (TDT)
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements and business needs into validated technical solution architectures.
- Develop HLDs, LLDs, BoMs, migration plans, and design decision documents.
- Ensure designs comply with enterprise standards, security guidelines, and architectural frameworks.
- Participate in design reviews, peer validations, and governance checkpoints to ensure quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, TIM, Engineering, PMO, and NOC/SOC teams for end-to-end alignment.
- Provide design clarifications during implementation phases and support SAT/CAT validation.
- Evaluate solution feasibility, risks, performance, and scalability across multi-technology environments.
- Maintain design templates, reusable frameworks, reference architectures, and technical guidelines.
- Support innovation and continuous improvement through automation, simplification, and adoption of new technologies.
Skills And Qualifications
- Strong design expertise across enterprise networking, security, cloud, and hybrid architectures.
- Hands-on understanding of routing, switching, WAN/SD-WAN, wireless, and security technologies.
- Ability to produce high-quality architecture documents, diagrams, and integration workflows.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with customer-facing consulting experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to design.
- 7–12 years of experience in network/security/solution design or consulting roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
- Preferred certifications: CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, cloud certifications (Azure/AWS), ITIL Foundation
