Sr Team Member- Financial Reporting & Compliance

Broad outline of the Role

• The role is part of the finance centre of excellence and will support in any one or more areas of finance including financial planning and analysis, reporting and compliance. The role will support implementation of policies, standards and processes in the respective areas. This is an operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the assigned account and business.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• CA Inter/ICWA/MBA/Other equivalent qualification
• 2-7 years experience in Finance

Technical Skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Hana, Oracle or similar ERP
• Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting and Accounts Payable processes.
• Knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS and financial reporting principles.

Role and Responsibilities:

GL Review & Financial Controllership

• Review AP-related General Ledger accounts to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items on a timely basis.
• Analyze journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reclassifications related to procure-to-pay processes.
• Review ledger postings and validate accounting treatment in line with Ind AS, IFRS or local GAAP requirements.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and review monthly AP-related financial reports and variance analysis.
• Identify unusual trends, accounting anomalies, and process gaps.
• Provide actionable insights to management through financial analysis and reporting.
• Support management reviews and business performance discussions.

Process Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within AP accounting and financial close processes.
• Leverage ERP systems and automation tools to improve efficiency and control effectiveness.
• Standardize accounting processes and documentation.
• Participate in transformation and process optimization projects.
