In this leadership role, you will lead, grow and mentor a specialized team of computational mechanics and automation experts .Your primary mission is to deliver insights, design recommendations and validate designs using simulations .
This is hands on simulation leader role and expected to perform Complex FEA analysis including Dynamic, Vibration, and explicit dynamics. Experience in Injection molding/ Heavy industrial equipment is a big plus. Knowledge of metallurgy is a must
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management: Mentor and develop FEA engineers, managing workload, and fostering professional growth.
Technical Strategy: Define and establish best practices for FEA methodologies, including mesh generation, boundary conditions, and post-processing.
Process Improvement: Develop and implement roadmaps for simulation tools, automation, and workflow improvements to increase efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams to validate simulations against real-world performance.
Communication: Act as a liaison between the technical team and management/stakeholders to provide clear analysis results and design recommendations. Indeed +6
Required Skills And Qualifications
Extensive experience with FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Nastran,Fluent) and simulation techniques including CFD
Strong background in solid mechanics, dynamics, and structural analysis and CFD.
Proven leadership experience in engineering, with excellent communication and team-management skills.
Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Mechanical Engineering or related field is typically preferred.
