As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be part of a collaborative and high‑performing tax and finance team that supports ACI's global operations. In this role, you'll help ensure the company meets its tax compliance, reporting, and financial obligations while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.
This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented accounting professional with strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and experience supporting tax reporting and compliance. You will partner closely with accounting and finance stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate, and well‑supported tax and financial reporting - helping ACI continue to innovate and lead in the payments industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and support process improvements and automation initiatives related to data management, reporting, and tax compliance
- Prepare and review tax‑related calculations, schedules, and reconciliations for tax filings and audits across India and Asia‑Pacific region
- Assist with quarterly and annual income tax provision processes
- Apply accounting principles to ensure accuracy in tax‑related financial data and general ledger activity
- Collaborate with internal teams to respond to tax inquiries, audits, and special projects
- Perform tax and accounting research on various projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation)
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Flexibility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience working with large or complex data sets, including data extraction, manipulation, and reconciliation
- Prior experience or exposure to international tax, such as tax compliance, tax provision support, audit assistance, or tax research
- Experience partnering with cross‑functional accounting or finance teams, as well as external stakeholders, across multiple time zones
- Oracle Fusion and OneSource tax provision experience a plus, but not required
- Professional tax or accounting qualification in India preferred (e.g., Chartered Tax Practitioner)
