Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy critical systems for on-prem and Cloud IT infrastructure to support company operations, ensure high availability and business continuity for core applications, including EBS systems and integrated application infrastructure, and design and implement DevOps, AI, and ML services infrastructure. This includes working with Linux virtual servers, host servers using OpenShift, and bare metal servers using various Server Operating systems to host virtual and containerization workloads.
- Strategize and Architect solutions to upgrade/migrate (Cloud) IT Infrastructure platforms, including Dell, NetApp Storage Arrays, OpenShift clusters, hyper-converged systems, etc
- Lead the implementation of infrastructure improvement projects and work collaboratively with other teams to identify gaps, troubleshoot and investigate performance issues, and review and recommend new technologies, including cloud-based systems, for future consideration and implementation.
- Design cloud environments with a focus on AWS and demonstrate technical cloud architectural knowledge, playing a vital role in the design of production, staging, QA, and development of cloud infrastructures running in 24×7 environments
- Build, Update, and Patch server OS and hardware firmware

- Minimum 8-10 years experience of working in a Global IT Organization
- Experienced in designing, building, deploying, and operationally maintaining complex IT infrastructures globally.
- Proven technical IT infrastructure knowledge in related subjects.
- Must have experience in interacting with 3rd party suppliers & service providers across multiple sites & countries on an operational level
- Capable of managing outsourced service providers.
- Must be able to travel (Note: Minimal travel required.)
- Willing and capable of learning new skills and knowledge related to job functions.

- Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution.
Requirements And Preferred Skills
- Capability to organize and manage projects and project documentation. Ability to architect storage and Linux systems to modernize Gates Infrastructure.
- Demonstrate capability and experience in managing Red Hat/OpenShift, Ubuntu, and DevOPs systems.
- Experience with Netapp, EMC, or other SAN systems, including working with network engineers to architect and configure SAN switches.
- Demonstrate capability to build Linux systems, on-prem and in the Cloud, including automation tools.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to storage and Linux systems.
- Capability to manage Unix, Linux, and windows server operating systems, and file systems
- Demonstrate capability and experience in managing storage systems, including Disk Arrays, Storage Area Network Switches, Disk partitioning, LUN creation, and general storage system configuration/troubleshooting.
- Analyze storage systems, including reporting on disk performance, disk utilization by application, and overall health of storage systems.
- Experience with cloud migration and project management is desired.
