We are looking for a
System Test Lead Engineer with a strong background in
system-level verification, test planning, and automation, who can lead end-to-end testing activities for complex, multi-component systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical skills, leadership experience and a strong understanding of system integration and validation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the system testing lifecycle from planning to execution, reporting, and closure.
- Develop test strategies, plans and test cases based on system requirements and architecture.
- Coordinate with development, integration, and product teams to ensure high-quality system releases.
- Define and maintain test environments, configurations, and test data for system-level testing.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Perform system integration testing, regression testing, performance testing and validation of new features, products and bug fixes.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues, identify root causes, and support defect resolution.
- Track and report test progress, quality metrics, and risks to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior test engineers within the team.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards and regulatory requirements
Required Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology.
- 8–10 years of experience in system testing or validation of complex software/hardware systems.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, integration, and interface testing.
- Experience in embedded systems
- Proficient in test planning, defect tracking, and test documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Exposure to safety-critical standards (e.g., ISO 26262, DO-178C, IEC 61508) and ARP4761
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, or custom tools).
- Experience in working within Agile/Scrum environments.
