Scope
- Position is focused on building and supporting infrastructure automation frameworks for enterprise applications, engineering platforms, and shared services environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules, Python automation scripts, and infrastructure workflows.
- Work closely with DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Security, Platform Engineering, and Application teams to standardize infrastructure provisioning and configuration practices.
- Support the transition from manually managed environments to automated, policy-driven, and reproducible infrastructure platforms.
- Contribute to the design of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure provisioning and automation solutions align with operational, compliance, and security standards.
- Drive consistency across development, test, staging, and production environments.

What You'll Do
- Design and implement reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure provisioning frameworks for Azure-based environments.
- Develop Python-based automation solutions to simplify infrastructure operations, provisioning, validation, and lifecycle activities.
- Build and maintain scalable automation for environment creation, configuration updates, patching, compliance checks, and infrastructure support tasks.
- Work with DevOps and platform teams to integrate infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Standardize infrastructure provisioning processes across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
- Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to define infrastructure patterns, reference architectures, and automation blueprints.
- Improve infrastructure reliability, consistency, and repeatability through automation and policy-driven deployment practices.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure provisioning issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
- Ensure automation solutions are secure, maintainable, version-controlled, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Support cloud governance, cost optimization, tagging standards, access controls, and compliance requirements through code.
- Create documentation for provisioning frameworks, automation workflows, standards, and operational procedures.
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams on infrastructure automation practices and reusable platform capabilities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying areas for operational simplification, faster provisioning, and reduced manual effort.
- Support rollout of new infrastructure services, enhancements, and platform capabilities across teams.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of overall IT experience, with 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience in Infrastructure Automation, IaC, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
- Strong scripting/programming experience in Python for automation development and operational tooling.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.
- Good understanding of infrastructure design, cloud networking, compute, storage, identity, and access management.
- Experience with automation and configuration tools such as Ansible and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control systems, and DevOps workflows.
- Experience in designing reusable, scalable, and modular infrastructure solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
- Good understanding of security, compliance, governance, and operational best practices in cloud environments.
- Ability to work effectively with platform, DevOps, security, architecture, and application teams.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Exposure to monitoring, logging, observability, and operational readiness practices is an advantage.
- Understanding of policy-as-code, infrastructure validation, and automated testing of IaC is a plus.
- Relevant cloud or Terraform certifications will be an added advantage.
