Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Manage Trading Operations for Asia's leading brokerage's global front office systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Interact with Dealers, Traders, and Business Heads across the globe to support trading activities and address their needs.
- Provide day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and development using SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix shell scripting/Perl to maintain system stability.
- Participate in rollouts to new markets and stock exchanges to expand trading capabilities and ensure successful deployment.
- Work on critical order management and trading systems, ensuring their reliability, performance, and compliance with business requirements.
- Follow established standards and best practices, collaborating with the broader technology organization for seamless integration and consistency.
- Document system processes, troubleshooting procedures, and deployment activities to ensure knowledge sharing and audit readiness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and ensure the robustness of trading systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in SQL, Unix scripting skills.
- Experience working in Equities Brokerage Front Office systems support, preferably bulge bracket investment bank.
- Production support experience with good problem solving and trouble shooting skills
- Must have exposure to working directly with end customers/business, vendors, other project stakeholders as needed.
- Experience on any OMS or Market Connectivity system, experience on Cash/F&O markets and Asian Exchanges.
- Knowledge of FIX is must
- Good communication skills in English
