Job Summary:**
The Sr. Supply Chain Executive at Hindustan Unilever Limited will play a pivotal role in optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. This role involves strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement across various supply chain functions.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage key aspects of the supply chain, including demand forecasting, inventory management, logistics, and warehousing for specific product categories.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to achieve business objectives, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement) to ensure seamless execution of supply chain plans and new product launches.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), suppliers, and distributors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Optimize inventory levels across the supply chain to minimize holding costs while ensuring product availability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes, leveraging technology and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
- Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance to senior management.
Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in supply chain roles within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chain operations and delivering measurable results.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, supply chain planning software).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain best practices, inventory management techniques, and logistics principles.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
