Description
We are seeking a skilled Sr. Structural Design Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in structural engineering, with a focus on designing and analyzing structures to meet project requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze various structural components and systems in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications for structural projects.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure structural integrity and constructability.
- Perform site inspections and assessments to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Develop and review project documentation, including reports and progress updates.
- Utilize structural analysis software and tools to optimize design solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on structural design matters.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
- Proficiency in structural design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
