Senior Staff Engineer, iOS
Role Overview
As a Senior iOS Developer with 10+ years of experience, you will spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge mobile applications for our platform. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Design, and Backend Engineering, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities:
Architect and implement well-designed, scalable iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI, UIKit.
Collaborate with Product Management and UX/UI designers to understand requirements and translate them into elegant technical solutions.
Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding best practices.
Investigate and resolve performance issues, bottlenecks, and bugs.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in iOS development, integrating them as appropriate.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Collaborate with Backend Engineers to design and integrate APIs.
Work in an Agile environment, actively participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
10+ years of professional iOS development experience.
Demonstrated track record as a Lead iOS Developer or in a comparable leadership position overseeing at least 1 application
Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
Experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit frameworks.
Strong expertise in iOS data structures and algorithms.
Deep understanding of iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, etc.) and design principles.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and networking concepts.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Portfolio showcasing at least 5 complex iOS applications.
