What You'll Do
What You Will Do
As a Founding SWE on Agents, you will have outsized impact. You won't just be writing code you will be shaping our technical DNA, culture, and architecture. You will design and build the agent systems at the heart of our platform: multi-step planning, tool use, orchestration across long-running tasks, context management over massive legacy codebases, and the evaluation harnesses that make agent behaviour measurable and reliable. You will architect, ship, and own these systems end-to-end, and you'll see your work run inside some of the largest enterprises in the world.
You Are a Good Fit If
- You've built with LLMs in production: You have hands-on experience building agentic systems, RAG pipelines, or LLM-powered products. Not just demos, but systems with real users and real reliability requirements.
- You think in systems: You quickly comprehend intricate technical landscapes and translate them into elegant architectural designs, from agent loops to evals to failure modes.
- You have deep technical chops: You possess extensive professional experience with full-stack development. Our core stack is Python, TypeScript, and React.
- You want extreme ownership: You are willing to dive into the unknown, pick up whatever knowledge you're missing fast, and do what it takes to get the job done.
- You have high standards: You take pride in your craft and care deeply about building fast, reliable, and modern experiences that delight customers.
- You thrive in chaos: You are highly comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What We're Looking For
Must-Have (Traits)
- High agency: in a 5-person team, nobody hands you tickets. You find the problem, decide what to build, and make sure it works.
- High ambiguity tolerance: comfortable making calls with incomplete information instead of waiting for a spec.
- Clear 0-to-1 journey: you've built something from scratch, ideally at an early-stage or sub-20-person company.
- Startup intent: you want early-stage ownership and speed, not a stable seat elsewhere.
Good-to-Have
- IIT or top-tier engineering background
- Experience with code analysis, parsing, or working with ASTs
- Familiarity with enterprise systems: legacy databases, stored procedures, mainframe codebases
- Prior startup/ enterprise experience
