Your Opportunity
As a Senior Analytics Engineer (or Lead Data Engineer) at Movius, you will play a key role in building a data-driven foundation that supports our products, customers, and business decisions. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based architectures that power analytics, reporting, and insights across the organization. This role provides the opportunity to influence data strategy, modernize our data platforms, and drive meaningful business impact through intelligent use of data.
What You'll Do
Develop a world-class analytics and business intelligence experience for Movius.
Build and operate modern data architectures that create complex data processing pipelines, transformations, and delivery mechanisms.
Monitor pipeline health to ensure data quality, consistency, and SLA adherence.
Lead the design and implementation of new data solutions, including orchestration for reporting and BI.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and other technical teams to deliver customer value through data, analytics, and insights.
Champion high standards of data governance, quality, and reliability across all systems.
Develop, automate, and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports to support strategic and operational needs.
Drive the development of self-service analytics solutions, enabling business teams to make data-driven decisions efficiently.
What You Bring
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence.
Strong understanding of real-time data streaming and pipeline architectures (e.g., Kafka).
Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable data delivery pipelines (e.g., API, SFTP).
Expertise in designing and developing pipelines to ingest, clean, and transform raw data from multiple sources into cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Proficiency in SQL, ETL frameworks, and programming languages such as Python or R.
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Domo (preferred), Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience providing data-driven insights that influence product innovation and strategic decision-making.
