Sr. SQL SERVER DEVELOPER

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience working with SQL Server (versions 2016, 2017, 2019, or later).
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• T-SQL
• Stored procedures
• Triggers
• Functions
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Profiler, and other SQL Server tools.
• Experience in database design, normalization, and indexing strategies.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with:
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) (both are a plus)
• Understanding of database security, backup, and recovery techniques.
• Knowledge of database clustering, replication, and high-availability solutions (e.g., AlwaysOn, mirroring).

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
