Position Overview: Sr. Solution Architect
As a Senior Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions and managed hosting services for our clients. You will work closely with our sales, engineering, and operations teams to understand client requirements, develop customized solutions, and ensure successful implementation and delivery
Job Description:
The role is responsible for providing support for consultation, solution design development, and implementation for specific business opportunities in the respective areas of Network Services (MPLS/ ILL/ P2P), Cloud Computing (Private & Public Cloud), Security Services (Anti-DDoS, Firewall & Unified Threat Management) & Unified Collaboration (Global SIP Connect, Numbering Service). The architect will also lead important projects that require providing instruction, guidance, and advice in the delivery phase of the project to ensure delivery of quality outcomes. This is a presales role, responsible for delivering results that have a direct impact on the customer experience for the assigned account/business.
The key responsibilities would be as follows:
Collaborate closely with Sales and internal support teams to discern client requirements and objectives, translating them into actionable solutions.Craft high-level solution designs early in the customer engagement process, refining them iteratively to ensure alignment with customer requirement to meet the objective.Support bid team to prepare responses to technical aspects of RFP.Work closely with teams like Product, Engineering & various cross functional teams to create required solution to enhance the service offering.Design detailed scalable and resilient solutions with use cases and Bill of Material.Identify potential challenges during implementation and propose effective mitigation strategies, showcasing resourcefulness in overcoming unexpected obstacles.Advise customers on best practices around network setup, cloud security, access management, regulatory compliance and related areas. (CASB, SASE, DDOS, IPS, IDS)Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of networking services and solutions such as MPLS, ILL, & P2P and enabling the delivery of cloud solutions to clients.Assess the value of technology choices within our solutions and collaborate with Subject Matter experts to fill knowledge gaps.Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to implementation and deployment.Forge close partnerships with engineering and operations teams to guarantee flawless implementation and delivery of solutions.Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, fostering continuous innovation and improvement.
Desired Skill sets:
Ability to understand business goals and map to technical requirements.Exposure towards working in the RFP responses.Knowledge of creating HLD and LLDGood understanding of use cases and able to create solutions relating to the use cases.Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Power point, Visio)Understanding of technology and services related to the domain.Proven expertise in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.Strong familiarity with Networking, Cloud computing and Security components in customer environments.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Relevant certifications such as CCNA Routing & Switching, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect are advantageous.
