Job Description

Key Responsibilities

 JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Analyze business requirements, system specifications, and design documents to develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks (UI, API, and backend testing) and write robust, reusable, and scalable automated test scripts
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
  • Design and execute manual test cases including functional, regression, integration, interface, and environmental testing.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test scenarios, automate test cases, and ensure complete test coverage.
  • Analyze test results, log defects, and track resolution using defect management tools.
  • Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups.
  • Validate bug fixes and perform collateral impact testing.
  • Continuously improve test frameworks, processes, and automation coverage.
  • Support and mentor QA team members on testing best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, procedures, and policies.
  • Plan and manage testing activities in line with project timelines and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, WebDriver, or Appium.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or NUnit.
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP protocols, and web technologies.
  • Experience with Git and version control practices.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Preferred

  • ISTQB, Certified Selenium Professional, or equivalent testing certifications.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA
  • 3+ years of experience in test Automation.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is preferred.
