About The Job
As a
Senior Software Developer – OpenText Exstream, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions on the
OpenText Exstream Cloud Native (CN) platform.
You will play a key role in building scalable, cloud-native communication solutions, migrating legacy Exstream applications, and ensuring seamless integration across systems. The role involves working closely with customers to understand requirements, define solutions, and deliver high-quality communication outputs using modern technologies and best practices.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in OpenText Exstream, end-to-end document lifecycle, and cloud-native application development.

Responsibilities
- Configure, develop, and perform integration testing on OpenText Exstream Cloud Native (CN) platform
- Interpret and implement architecture, design, deployment, and cloud configuration tasks
- Migrate legacy Exstream applications and forms to Cloud Native (CN) environment
- Develop end-to-end CCM applications
- Prepare business requirement documents and technical design documents
- Maintain developer and peer review checklists, ensuring adherence to coding standards
- Perform unit testing and support SIT and UAT phases
- Conduct QA to ensure compliance with requirements and quality standards
- Identify performance tuning and cost optimization opportunities
- Participate in daily stand-ups to track progress
- Engage in weekly customer status calls and provide updates
Requirements
- Strong expertise in OpenText Exstream and end-to-end document lifecycle
- Experience with OpenText Exstream Cloud Native modules (Designer, Orchestrator, Content Author, Empower)
- Experience in Exstream migration projects (upgrades & modernization)
- Experience in developing and managing cloud/web-based applications
- Hands-on experience with Control-M scheduling and workflow orchestration
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Python for scripting and integration
- Strong understanding of Orchestration Flow Context, Flow Model, and Flow Script
- Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations
- Experience in customer interaction and requirement analysis
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Good To Have
- Insurance domain experience
- Knowledge of CCM best practices and frameworks
- Exposure to cloud performance optimization techniques
