Summary:
The Sr. Software Engineer will be instrumental in developing an Automation framework aimed at System and Software validation for Infotainment and Cockpit Electronics Products within the Automotive sector.
Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of the Infotainment system/SW testing framework.
- Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
- Write well-designed, testable code.
- Produce specification documents and determine operational feasibility.
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
- Conduct peer reviews.
- Document and maintain software functionality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback.
- Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.
- Update software with the latest features.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Science.
- 4-8 years of experience in Automotive Application Development.
- Experience with Automotive infotainment modules or Automotive background.
- Proficient in Python 3.8.
- Familiar with Ubuntu 20.4.
- Experience with an Automation Framework, plugins, and module integration.
- Understanding of hardware setups for System validation in Infotainment or Automotive features.
- Working experience with Git, Gerrit, and GitLab.
- Familiarity with ALM tools.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience working in a Scrum team using Agile methodology.
- Exposure to Vector VT system/D-Space.
- Knowledge of CAN, UDP/TCP protocols.
- Experience with serial/Ethernet communication.
