Sr. Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on end-to-end Java development within a large matrixed organization
• Lead and contribute in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple responsibilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and build data platforms
• Deliver services aimed at revenue generation or operational efficiency improvement
• Provide L3 production support, including issue resolution, defect fixes, and enhancements
• Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and process-driven leadership

Technical Skills Required:

• Java 8 development with solid core Java knowledge
• Understanding of JVM memory management
• Experience with Spring Boot framework
• Skilled in creating Microservices and Web Services
• Proficient with ORM tools:
• JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data
• Multithreading experience
• Frontend development using:
• React, Redux, HTML
• Database expertise:
• MSSQL / Database development and performance tuning
• Good understanding of design patterns and Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle:
• Requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance
• CI/CD exposure for application build and deployment
• Containerization experience (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes for React apps) is a plus
• Knowledge of Financial Systems
