Sr Software Engineer- Java/Scala

What's the role

As a Sr Software Engineer, your responsibilities span the entire software development process to include:

• Agile development of software solutions.
• Implementing continuous integration and automated testing.
• Driving continuous delivery of systems and infrastructure.
• Performing root cause analysis of software and system defects.
• Deploying production-ready systems and monitoring processes.
• Incorporating user feedback into product improvements.
• Partnering with Product Management and Architecture teams to manage engineering backlog.
• Demonstrating products to customers and supporting efficient usage.
• Planning sprint backlogs and resolving impediments.
• Ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.

Who are you

You are a collaborative and results-oriented professional with:

• 4+ years of strong programming experience.
• Full-stack development expertise in Scala, Java, Spring Boot, PL/SQL, and Microservices.
• Proficiency in building and using REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, GoCD).
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for distributed applications.
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and reporting systems.
• Experience with Agile methods, DevOps practices, and tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a distributed team.
