Job Title: Full Stack Developer - Case Management Workflow Engine (Provider Data)

Role Overview We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to design and build a Case Management Workflow Engine that handles fallout records from a provider data ingestion pipeline. The system will enable operations teams to review, resolve, and disposition exception records through a configurable workflow with audit, routing, and escalation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end case management features - queue management, case assignment, routing, escalation, and audit trail
• Build responsive Angular UI for case worklist views, filters, dashboards, and case detail workflows
• Develop Java Spring Boot backend APIs for workflow orchestration, state management, and business rule integration
• Integrate with upstream provider data ingestion pipelines to consume and manage fallout records
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) for operations, supervisors, and admin personas
• Design workflow state machines for case lifecycle (Open In Progress Resolved / Escalated / Closed)
• Develop reporting and SLA tracking features for case resolution metrics
• Participate in system design, code reviews, and CI/CD pipeline activities
  

Required Skills

Frontend

• 3+ years Angular (v12+) - components, services, RxJS, reactive forms, Angular Material
• Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS
• Experience building worklist/queue-based UIs with grid, filtering, and pagination
  Backend
  
• 4+ years Java Spring Boot - REST APIs, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA
• Workflow/state machine design patterns (Spring State Machine or equivalent)
• Relational database design (PostgreSQL / MySQL) with complex querying
• Messaging/event-driven integration (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS)
• Experience building audit logging and exception handling frameworks

• RESTful API design and contract-first development (OpenAPI/Swagger)
• Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
  

Good to Have

• Healthcare payer industry experience with provider domain knowledge - provider onboarding, credentialing, roster ingestion, CAQH/NPPES integrations, network management
• Familiarity with provider data fallout patterns (demographic mismatches, NPI validation failures, license discrepancies)
• Knowledge of FHIR R4 (Practitioner, Organization, Location resources) and Da Vinci PDex Plan-Net IG
• HIPAA compliance and PHI/PII data handling experience
• Experience integrating with rules engines (Drools/RHDM) for routing/decisioning logic
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of total full stack development experience
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate operational workflow requirements into technical design
