Sr Software Engineer

What's the role

• Design and build robust, scalable REST APIs and backend services with a strong focus on performance and reliability
• Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows to support data-driven applications
• Architect backend systems with effective caching strategies, load management, and high availability in mind
• Collaborate closely with data, product, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions
• Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and drive adoption of engineering best practices
• Contribute to architectural decisions across backend and data platforms, ensuring scalability and maintainability

Who are you

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, RDS, Glue, or similar services)
• Proven experience designing and building REST APIs
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational/non-relational databases
• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines
• Familiarity with API and system scaling, caching patterns, and distributed architecture
