Sr. Software Engineer C++

Here is the JD

• Gather requirements, design, implement, test, and maintain new features and infrastructure.

• Support application developers and their needs to building C++-based object-oriented tools for MATLAB

• Use features of C++ to build new interfaces and improve existing ones

• Work closely with Quality Engineering to develop testing strategies for new features.

• Support the adoption of new features by working closely with other development teams

Qualifications:

• Experience with C++ • Demonstrated experience in/with object oriented design

• Experience with debugging

Skills:

Strong coding experience in any of these languages - C, C++

Development experience on products related to enterprise class data protection

Minimum of 6-8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 4-6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 2-3 years experience; or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of Microservices, Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI etc.) and SaaS architecture. AI/ML is definitely a plus

Experience developing and troubleshooting large scale distributed systems written in Go/C/C++ on Linux and Windows Platforms.

Strong coding, analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills including use of tools such GDB, Python Debugger .

Problem-solver who can dive deep to solve complex problems/issues.

Great communication skills, innovative, and customer-centric behaviors.

Education:

Minimum of 6-8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree;

or 4-6 years and a Master's degree;

or a PhD with 2-3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
