Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain robust software applications using Visual Basic .NET and Visual Basic to support our Property & Casualty Insurance services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and optimize software solutions that meet business requirements.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility and design within time and cost constraints.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements to existing systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into our software development process.
Ensure software documentation is comprehensive and up-to-date for future reference and training purposes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements ensuring alignment with business goals.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Support the deployment of applications and provide post-deployment support to resolve any issues. Qualifications -
Possess strong expertise in Visual Basic .NET and Visual Basic with a proven track record of successful software development projects.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance domain understanding industry-specific requirements and challenges.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
Show proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Have a strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
