Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Adobe Commerce (Magento) e-commerce applications.
- Develop and customize Magento modules, extensions, themes, plugins, and third-party integrations.
- Build and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations with external systems.
- Manage and support Adobe Commerce Cloud deployments, releases, and environments.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, testing, documentation, and production deployments.
- Develop custom modules and enhance existing Magento extensions based on business requirements.
- Optimize website performance, scalability, and security while ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Adobe Commerce architecture and third-party integrations.
- Maintain technical documentation for custom developments, features, and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality e-commerce solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento) development using PHP and MySQL.
- Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce (Enterprise Edition), and/or Magento Open Source.
- Strong expertise in Magento 2.x development; experience with Magento 1.x migration and upgrade projects is preferred.
- Solid understanding of Magento architecture, module development, customization, and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience with Git version control and CI/CD deployment processes.
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party system integrations.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, and Composer.
- Knowledge of security best practices, PCI-DSS compliance, and GDPR for e-commerce applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Adobe Commerce (Magento) Certification.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and Adobe Commerce Cloud environment management.
- Knowledge of Docker, Redis, Varnish, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, RabbitMQ, and caching mechanisms is an added advantage.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
