The Alexa Endpoints Media Team delivers a multi-device media experience across all Alexa-enabled endpoints. We build the player that handles music, podcast, and audiobook playback for Alexa devices - whether it's a single device in the living room, a dozen devices spread throughout the house playing in sync, or a dynamic Home Theater of Echo Studios. We are looking for Software Development Engineers who want to join us on this journey to engage and delight customers as they enjoy their media throughout their whole home. About the team
Within the Alexa Endpoints Media Team, the Device Group Management team is specifically responsible for building software that delivers low-latency, low-cost, highly reliable, and highly scalable cloud services. These services interact with our Alexa devices to power seamless multi-device experiences for customers across their homes.
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
