Job Summary:

The Senior Cordant Tech Lead provides discipline leadership and expertise in Cordant Asset Performance Management solutions and services. This role provides condition monitoring, reliability engineering principles, maintenance strategy optimizations, root cause analysis, asset health analytics and other essential components of APM solution through the development and deployment of appropriate systems, processes, guiding principles, training, and coaching. This role partners with product, technology, projects, engineering, services, other functions and subject matter experts to ensure efficient delivery of Cordant APM solutions.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a thought-leader, technical expert and first point of support for the deployment of Cordant Asset Health analytics and related APM deployment configurations, deployment and acceptance testing with respect to condition monitoring & diagnostics knowledge, standards, best practices, and technologies.
  • Providing leadership and technical support in liaising with Technology/Engineering/Subject Matter Solution Expert teams, towards definition, development and implementation of solutions.
  • Assisting cross-functional global teams relating to deployment errors troubleshooting of rotating, reciprocating and stationary systems.
  • Reviewing EDGE software configurations from the point of view of Condition Monitoring/analytics for compliance to best practices and assure process and documentation needs are met.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for building training material and certification learning plans.
  • Providing On-The-Job-Training, coaching, and mentoring of identified offsite global teams such as consulting engineers, analytics deployment and APM configuration teams.
  • Work cross-functionally, as necessary, in development of global processes and strategies.
  • Interacting with product, technology and analytics team to improve solutions and best practices.
  • Ensure consistency and quality process compliance for project & services delivery.
  • Continuously improve programs based on feedback.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Over 15 years of practical experience in machinery maintenance, diagnostics, reliability engineering, vibration and process analysis, and condition monitoring across industries such as power generation, oil & gas, chemical, pulp & paper, and mining.
  • Hands-on experience working with Baker Hughes's System1 condition monitoring and analytics software solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with end users and providing specialized consultancy services is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in leading strategic projects for APM solution implementation and operations.
  • Working knowledge of API Standards (API 670), ISO Standards, and related industry protocols.
  • Demonstrated expertise in team training and mentorship.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical schematics, assembly drawings, procedures, PFDs, and P&IDs.
  • Skilled in MS Office and general computer applications.
  • Adaptable and motivated to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
  • Fluent in English proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible to accommodate global time zones as required.
