Job Description

Sr. ServiceNow Developers:_

  • Minimum 3 years experience in ServiceNow (Must) with overall 5+ years of IT experience in development project .
  • Strong in ServiceNow development using most of the ServiceNow tools and features such as Business Rule, Script Include, Client Scripts, UI Policies, AJAX, Glide Scripting, Java Scripting, Jelly Scripting, Service Portal, Angular JS, Widgets, Workflow, Catalog Development, UI Page, UI Scripts, UI Action, Inbound Action, Notifications, REST & SOAP APIs, Workflow Custom Activities, SQL, Database (Must).
  • ITIL Foundation certification (Preferred) - ServiceNow Administration certification (Must) - Service Portal Development (Widgets, Angular JS, Server Scripting, Client Scripting, HTML, DHTML, CSS, Pages, Portal Configuration).
  • Integration of ServiceNow with external tools using Web Services & REST APIs - Various module implementation experience (ITSM, ITOM, HR, Finance, GRC) .
  • Ability to learn new technology and adopt changing business requirements.
  • Experience in Performance Analytics (Preferred) - Discovery - ServiceNow Implementation Certification (preferred).
  • Strong customer handling and communication skills (must), ability to collect requirements, translate requirements into Technical design (detailed design) , development of requirement in ServiceNow, fix any defects, support UAT.
  • Experience in handling Agile based delivery model.
  • Able to deliver high quality deliverables

Requirements

Skills Required:-

  • Candidates shall possess the skill to develop on the ServiceNow platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Content management and Portal.
  • Willingness to follow software best practices to design and implement well documented, maintainable code -Perform all aspects of platform administration including configuration, monitoring, management, tuning, and security of all ServiceNow instances. - Troubleshoot production and test issues; perform root cause analysis, recommend corrective action, and lead the resolution efforts.
  • Identify automation opportunities and make recommendation for improvements to ITSM - modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset - Management, CMDB and Service Catalog Requests.
  • Build CMDB data model and populate CMDB using the Service Now Discovery tool - Assist with regular ITSM ServiceNow releases which may include system/integration.
  • Create and successfully execute unit tests, UAT, and validation. - Design and implement process workflows, procedures, and technical standards.
  • Manager or lead a team as per business requirement.
  • Analyse, diagnose, and resolve software bugs utilizing approved procedures.
