Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Service Operations Management

  • Lead the end-to-end service operations for inverter installations including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
  • Develop and implement service protocols, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Ensure timely response and resolution of customer service requests and technical issues.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Manage, train, and motivate the field service engineers and technicians.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Coordinate with technical support, spare parts, and warranty teams.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as uptime, mean time to repair (MTTR), and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular service reports and escalate critical issues to senior management.
  • Identify trends and drive root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary interface for key customers regarding service and warranty matters.
  • Collaborate with sales and project teams to support commissioning and handover processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships for spare parts and technical support.

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive initiatives to improve service efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance customer experience.
  • Stay updated with inverter technologies, software updates, and industry best practices.
  • Support product development teams with field feedback and improvement suggestions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
  • Certifications in solar PV, power electronics, or inverter technology preferred

Experience:

  • 812 years of experience in service management, maintenance, or technical support of solar/industrial inverters or power electronics
  • Proven leadership experience managing field service teams

Key Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of inverters, power electronics, and PV systems
  • Excellent team management and communication skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Customer-centric approach and negotiation skills
  • Proficient with service management software and reporting tools
