Security Engineer

• We re looking for a Security Engineer with strong expertise in security automation, scripting and DevSecOps practices to enhance and sustain the overall security posture of our cloud infrastructure and applications. The ideal candidate should have exposure to Cyber Security with hands-on experience of building security solutions using open-source security tools and the ability to automate security processes.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Security Engineering with a focus on security automation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc. for automation of security controls and processes.
• Experience working with open-source security tools for security controls enforcement and monitoring
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices with hands-on experience in integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines for secure code and infrastructure deployment
• Strong understanding of Cloud infrastructure, Containers, Kubernetes and application security
• Exposure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform), Azure DevOps and configuration management tools (Ansible)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive security mindset.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Open-source Security Tools: Deploy, customize, and optimize open-source security tools for vulnerability scanning, cloud security monitoring, and application security testing
• Automate Security Processes: Automate security processes to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency across security processes, compliance monitoring, governance and reporting
• Integrate Security in DevSecOps: Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines for secure deployment of infrastructure and applications.
• Ensure Security Compliance: Enforce security policies, compliance standards and contribute to vulnerability management and risk assessments to safeguard organizational assets.

Education and Experience

• 3+ years of relevant Cloud security experience
• Cloud Security certifications related to Azure/AWS/GCP desired or preferred
