Job Purpose
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable IT infrastructure across client environments. The role focuses on strengthening the organization's security posture, resolving complex technical issues, and acting as a subject matter expert for infrastructure and security operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operation and strategic scaling of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid server environments to ensure peak performance and 24/7 availability.
- Architect and optimize multi-tenant virtualization platforms, overseeing complex resource allocation and high-availability configurations.
- Design and enforce enterprise-grade backup, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity strategies to meet strict RTO/RPO objectives.
- Spearhead infrastructure automation through advanced scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to eliminate manual overhead and standardize deployments.
- Own the design and management of complex network topologies, including Global VPNs, NAC, IPS, and multi-site routing/switching.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti deployments, providing high-level architectural recommendations and performance tuning.
- Serve as the final escalation point for critical network incidents, utilizing deep-packet analysis and log forensics to resolve systemic issues.
- Implement and manage advanced security layers, including next-gen firewalls, encryption protocols, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Direct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits; lead to the remediation of findings to ensure a hardened infrastructure.
- Oversee global patch management, certificate lifecycles, and identity access controls in alignment with industry standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO).
- Lead high-impact infrastructure initiatives from discovery and requirement analysis to execution and post-mortem documentation.
- Consult with business units to translate organizational needs into technical roadmaps and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
- Maintain an authoritative library of technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT with 10–15 years of progressive experience in Infrastructure, Networking, and Cybersecurity.
- Mandatory active professional-level certifications in both Networking (e.g., CCNP) and Systems (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect/MCSE).
- Comprehensive experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS, including VMs, ExpressRoute, VNet Peering, and Azure Site Recovery.
- Deep expertise in managing enterprise-grade on-premises servers, storage arrays, and cloud-integrated environments.
- Advanced proficiency in designing and troubleshooting complex network topologies, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
- Strong command of security fundamentals, including vulnerability management, incident response, and hardening best practices.
- Proven ability to independently resolve L3 escalations and perform root-cause analysis in mission-critical environments.
- Experience operating within SLA-driven environments using enterprise ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into business solutions.
- Must participate in a senior-level on-call rotation for critical infrastructure emergencies.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in an MSP environment with client-facing exposure.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and hybrid infrastructure.
• Exposure to security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Experience in automation/scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Azure, CISSP, CEH, or equivalent.
