Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and reusable test libraries
Build automated tests for API, UI, integration, functional, and regression testing
Collaborate with developers to improve code testability and unit test coverage
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
Develop test strategies, test plans, and comprehensive test documentation
Identify, log, and track defects in JIRA through resolution
Participate in code reviews with focus on quality and testability
Contribute to Agile ceremonies and support iterative delivery
Research and implement new tools, frameworks, and best practices

MANDATORY SKILLS:

5+ years of experience in software development, test automation, or quality engineering
Programming Languages: Strong skills in C#, Java, or Python
UI Automation: Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or WebDriverIO
API Automation: Postman/Newman, REST Assured, Karate, or SuperTest
Framework Development: Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
Version Control: GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
Testing Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, test-driven development
Database Skills: SQL queries (Microsoft SQL Server or similar)

GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS:

Performance testing tools (k6, JMeter, LoadRunner)
Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Contract testing (Pact)
Service virtualization (WireMock, MockServer, Hoverfly)
Monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace)
Network debugging tools (Charles Proxy, Fiddler, Postman)
Page Object Model (POM) design patterns
Mobile testing experience (iOS/Android, Appium)
Security testing knowledge (OAuth2, JWT)
Test data management
ISTQB or similar QA certifications
