Implements tactical and operational goals focused on software build, release, deployment, and configuration management, ensuring seamless application delivery. Contributes to the implementation of new automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, testing methodologies, and deployment standards. Manages software deployment projects and operational processes, coordinating release schedules, dependency tracking, and integration workflows. Works on diverse, multifaceted challenges where analysis requires evaluating software performance, system compatibility, and implementation risks. Derives solutions based on limited precedent, applying best practices in release engineering, infrastructure automation, and software quality assurance to maintain stability and efficiency. Communicates regularly with internal stakeholders, including development, QA, IT operations, and product teams, as well as external vendors and cloud service providers to ensure timely implementation and support.

Sr. SAP Spartacus & Angular Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. SAP Spartacus & Angular Developer to join our e-commerce technology team.

Role Overview:

As a member of the e-commerce technology team, the developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure composable e-commerce storefront using SAP Spartacus on Angular platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable, robust, and secure e-commerce storefront aligned with business objectives and industry standards.
• Proficiency in designing complex eCommerce applications leveraging technologies like SAP CC, Java, Spartacus/Angular, Node.js, Spring framework, and other web development tools.
• E-commerce platform integration with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, payment gateways, SSO, and third-party APIs.
• Possess a good understanding of user profiles, shopping cart systems, payment processing, quotes, and order processing.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, finance, and IT to gather requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide technical solutions, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of e-commerce solutions through rigorous unit testing, code reviews, and performance monitoring.

Requirements & Core Technical Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a SAP Spartacus and Angular developer
• Angular: A deep understanding of Angular framework, including components, directives, services, dependency injection, and reactive programming.
• TypeScript: Proficiency in TypeScript, including type safety, interfaces, and modules.
• JavaScript: Strong JavaScript fundamentals, including ES6+ features.
• HTML5 and CSS3: Knowledge of web standards, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• SAP Commerce Cloud (CC) Backoffice: Understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud backend systems and APIs to integrate with the frontend.
• RESTful APIs: Experience in consuming and interacting with RESTful APIs.
• Version Control: Proficiency in GitHub for code management and collaboration.
• Spartacus Framework: In-depth knowledge of Spartacus architecture, components, and best practices.
• OCC (OccModule): Understanding of the OCC module for communicating with the SAP Commerce Cloud backend.
• Data Management: Experience in managing and handling product data, customer data, and order data within Spartacus.
• UI/UX Development: Ability to create user-friendly and visually appealing e-commerce experiences.
• Testing: Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize Spartacus applications for speed and responsiveness.

Additional Desirable Skills

• UI/UX Design: Understanding of UI/UX principles to create engaging user experiences.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Accessibility: Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure inclusivity.
• SEO: Understanding of SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
