Job Title: Senior SAP MM Consultant

Exp: 8+ years in SAP (S4 Hana) MM (Materials Management) module

Location :Bangalore (Hybrid)

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant with over seven years of expertise in configuring, implementing, and optimizing the SAP Materials Management module. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end procurement, inventory management, and material planning within SAP and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements in supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the configuration, customization, and implementation of the SAP MM module to support procurement and inventory management processes.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM solutions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

• Manage end-to-end SAP MM functionalities, including procurement cycles, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, STO (One Step/Two Step), Inbound Delivery, goods receipts, Sales order, billing, IDOCs, Jobs, master data etc.

• Oversee inventory management processes, such as stock transfers, goods movement, and inventory reconciliation, ensuring data accuracy and optimal stock levels.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP MM configurations, workflows, and customizations, providing ongoing support to users.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, logistics, production planning, and IT, to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.

• Conduct system testing, perform data validation, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure a smooth implementation process.

• Develop and deliver end-user training, documentation, and support to enhance understanding and efficient use of SAP MM functionalities.

• Stay updated with the latest SAP enhancements, updates, and industry best practices, and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience working with SAP MM, including system configuration, implementation, and support.

• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, material master data, and invoice verification within SAP MM.

• Proven ability to lead complex projects, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.

• SAP certification in MM or SD related area is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with related SAP modules such as SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling).

• Project management experience or certification is advantageous.

• Experience with SAP data migration tools and techniques.
