Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Development and Implementation: Design and develop enterprise applications using ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) within SAP BTP.
Build, test, and deploy services and APIs on SAP BTP using CAP (Cloud Application Programming), OData, and Fiori elements.
Optimize SAP S/4HANA extensions using SAP BTP services. System Integration: Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite (e.g., API Management, Cloud Integration, and Event Mesh).
Manage data flow between on-premise systems and the cloud using connectors and BTP services.

Technical Expertise:

Write scalable and maintainable ABAP code following RAP guidelines and clean coding principles.
Create and expose CDS (Core Data Services) views and handle annotations for UI and service generation.
Utilize SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 for creating modern, user-friendly interfaces.

Collaboration and Support:

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and team members.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues during development and after deployment.
Best Practices and Innovation: Stay updated with SAP BTP, RAP, and S/4HANA innovations.
Apply best practices in security, performance optimization, and compliance.
Propose innovative solutions to improve system functionality and user experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including RAP.
Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Strong knowledge of RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model) and CDS views.
Proficiency in SAP Fiori/UI5 development and OData services.
Experience with SAP Integration Suite and cloud connectors.
Knowledge of DevOps processes and tools in SAP BTP.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
