Role Summary:
The Senior SAP ABAP Fiori Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting backend services for SAP Fiori applications. The role focuses on ABAP on HANA development, OData services, and seamless integration with SAP UI5/Fiori front-end applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend logic for SAP Fiori applications using ABAP on HANA.
- Develop and enhance OData services (CDS Views, AMDP, BOPF good to have).
- Customize and optimize standard SAP objects using Reports, Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits.
- Work on performance optimization and code remediation for HANA readiness.
- Collaborate closely with Fiori/UI5 developers, functional consultants, and business users.
- Support unit testing, integration testing, and production issue resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation and follow development best practices.
Skills & Experience:
- 610 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA and Fiori backend development.
- Expertise in OData services, CDS Views, and REST-based integrations.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture.
- Experience in Interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, Web Services).
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
