Sr. SAN Admin

We are seeking a Sr. SAN Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing SAN infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of storage systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain SAN infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Monitor SAN storage performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Implement storage provisioning and de-provisioning based on departmental needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement storage solutions.
• Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and security.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning of SAN environments.
• Document SAN configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-8 years of experience in SAN administration or related field.
• Strong knowledge of SAN technologies and protocols (e.g., Fibre Channel, iSCSI).
• Experience with storage solutions from vendors such as Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp, or IBM.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and their integration with SAN.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving related to SAN and storage systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
